Cambridge Man Arrested on Multiple Warrants After Delaware Extradition

Cambridge, MD - The Cambridge Police Department executed an extradition on September 19, 2025, transporting 33-year-old Lamont Leroy Farrare from Wilmington, Delaware, to face multiple outstanding warrants.


Farrare, a Vienna, Maryland resident, was processed at the Cambridge Police Department and subsequently released on personal recognizance.


The arrest involved four separate warrants spanning multiple jurisdictions. The first warrant originated from Wicomico County District Court for failing to appear in court on September 4, 2024. The original charges included CDS possession not cannabis, CDS possession paraphernalia, theft less than $100, failure to obey a lawful order, and obstruction and hindering.


Caroline County District Court issued the second warrant for theft between $100 and $1,500, along with conspiracy to commit theft in the same amount range. These charges stem from an incident on October 20, 2024, in the 300 block of Bloomingdale Avenue in Federalsburg, Maryland. Police reports indicate Farrare entered a restricted area and removed multiple cartons of cigarettes.


The third warrant was from the Dorchester County District Court and included charges of fourth-degree burglary and theft between $100 and $1,500.The charges relate to an October 22, 2024, incident at a Walgreens location where Farrare allegedly placed items in a backpack and left the store without payment.


A fourth warrant, also from Dorchester County District Court, encompasses multiple theft charges across several Cambridge, Maryland locationsThe charges include five counts of theft between $100 and $1,500, two counts of theft less than $100, and two counts of theft scheme between $100 and $1,500.


These incidents occurred on various dates between August 21, 2024, and October 4, 2024, including August 21, September 8, September 18, September 19, September 25, October 2, and October 4.
