City of Salisbury Announces Sinkhole Repair on N. Division Street

SALISBURY, MD - The City of Salisbury will conduct sinkhole repair work on North Division Street as part of its ongoing infrastructure maintenance efforts. The Department of Waterworks Utilities Division has scheduled the repairs for Thursday, September 18, 2025, in the 700 block of North Division Street in Salisbury, Maryland.

North Division Street will be closed to through traffic from Baltimore Avenue to East Lehigh Avenue during the repair period. The work is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and is expected to conclude by 3:30 p.m., barring any unforeseen circumstances.

The City has notified all utility locators and Central Alarm in advance of the scheduled repair work. Officials emphasize that the street closure is necessary to ensure the safety of workers and the public during the repair operations.
