Ellendale Man Arrested on Gun Charges in Milford

MILFORD, DE - An 18-year-old Ellendale man was arrested on multiple felony gun charges after he was allegedly found with a firearm at a facility in Milford on September 17, 2025.
The Milford Police Department responded to People's Place, located in the 1100 block of Airport Road, after receiving a report that an individual attending a class was in possession of a gun..
According to police, an investigation revealed that the subject, later identified as Reginald D. Wright-McGlotten Jr., had discarded a handgun in a trashcan inside the meeting room.
Officers located the weapon and attempted to take Wright-McGlotten into custody. He reportedly resisted, but was arrested without further incident.
Wright-McGlotten was charged with several felonies, including Possession of a Firearm by a Person under 21, Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Resisting Arrest.
He was presented at the Justice of the Peace Court and committed to the Department of Correction on a $104,000 cash bond. Wright-McGlotten is scheduled to appear in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas for a preliminary hearing at a later date.
