Man Arrested After Motorcycle Crash in Milton

MILTON, DE - A Milford man has been arrested on multiple charges following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Monday afternoon.


The incident occurred on September 22, 2025, at approximately 3:17 p.m. Delaware State Police responded to a crash on Issacs Road, just north of Milton-Ellendale Highway. The investigation determined that 20-year-old Shymier Olden was operating a Suzuki GSX-600L northbound on Issacs Road.


According to police, Olden failed to negotiate a curve, causing the motorcycle to exit the east side of the roadway.


Troopers reported that prior to the crash, Olden was observed driving aggressively, passing other vehicles on the shoulder, and traveling at a high rate of speed.

A subsequent computer check of the Suzuki revealed it was unregistered, uninsured, and had been reported stolen in 2023.


Olden was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Following his release, he was taken into custody and transported to Troop 7.


He was charged with several offenses, including felony Receiving Stolen Property Value Over $1,500, Aggressive Driving, Driving a Vehicle at Unreasonable or Imprudent Speed, and Failure to Have Required Insurance, among other traffic violations.


Olden was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on his own recognizance.
