CAMBRIDGE, MD - A Dorchester County Maryland jury has found Kenneth Stefan Bradley, 43, guilty of First-Degree Murder and other related charges in the death of Tiyavauna "Tiya" Britt. The verdict was delivered on September 19, 2025, following a multi-day trial.

During the trial, the prosecution presented evidence that on February 7, 2024, Bradley assaulted Ms. Britt at Great Marsh Park in Cambridge, Maryland. Surveillance footage of the attack was shown to the jury.

Witnesses testified that Bradley later confessed to attempting to conceal the crime by burning the victim's body and disposing of the remains.

The investigation began as a missing person case with the Easton Police Department. After surveillance evidence emerged, the case was transferred to the Cambridge Police Department.

The Maryland State Police Homicide Unit, led by Sergeant Scott Sears, then took charge of the investigation. Multiple specialized units provided support, including the Maryland State Apprehension Team, Underwater Recovery Team, Crime Scene Technicians, Forensic Sciences Division, and Chesapeake Search Dogs.

Over four days, the prosecution presented testimony from more than thirty witnesses to establish Bradley's guilt.

"This verdict reflects the tireless work of our law enforcement partners and their unwavering commitment to seeking justice for victims of domestic violence," said State's Attorney Amanda Leonard.

The case was prosecuted by Senior Assistant State's Attorney Ella Disharoon and State's Attorney Amanda Leonard.

The Dorchester County State's Attorney's Office has extended its condolences to the family of Tiyavauna "Tiya" Britt.
