Preston Man Charged with Theft of Pressure Washer from Family Member

Caroline County, MD - Caroline County Deputies have charged Shawn Lee Hubbard with theft, following an investigation into a stolen pressure washer on September 14, 2025.
Deputies responded to a residence on Line Road in Preston, Maryland, after receiving a report of an alleged theft. The victim reported that his son, Shawn Lee Hubbard, had taken a Predator Pressure Washer from a garage without permission. The pressure washer was valued at approximately $1,000.
Investigation revealed that the stolen equipment had been sold to an unknown individual for $100. Deputies located the pressure washer and returned it to the victim.
Following the investigation, authorities completed an Application for Charges against the defendant. Shawn Lee Hubbard was subsequently served with a Caroline County District Court Criminal Summons on one charge of Theft $100 to Under $1,500.
Hubbard was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled to appear in court at a future date.
