Repeat Offender Continues to Drive Without License in Talbot County

Talbot County, MD - On September 23, 2025, a traffic stop on Ocean Gateway near Bartlett Avenue in Easton, Maryland, resulted in an arrest. Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office identified the driver of the vehicle as Myrna Valdez-Santiago, 60, of Hartford, Connecticut. Valdez-Santiago was driving without a license.

A records check revealed an active arrest warrant for Valdez-Santiago, issued by the Talbot County District Court on August 26, 2019, also for driving without a license. The warrant was for failing to appear at a scheduled court hearing for those charges of Driving without a License and Speeding.

Following the stop, Valdez-Santiago was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing.

She had an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner and was released on her own personal recognizance.
