Sherwood Man Arrested on 1st Degree Assault Warrant

Talbot County, MD - On September 22, 2025, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested Jason Richard Shores, 49, of Sherwood, MD. The arrest was made in connection with a warrant issued by the Circuit Court for Talbot County on August 12, 2025.

The warrant charged Shores with failing to appear for a scheduled court hearing regarding an original charge of first-degree assault.

Following his arrest, Shores was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing. He was ordered to be held pending a hearing before a Circuit Court Judge.

On September 23, 2025, Shores had a bond review before Judge Philip Cronan. He was subsequently released on a $5,000 unsecured personal bond.
