Wicomico County Fair Returns to WinterPlace Park August 15-17

Wicomico County, MD - The Wicomico County Fair is set to make its highly anticipated return to WinterPlace Park in Salisbury from August 15 to August 17, with free admission and parking.

This event, organized jointly by the Wicomico Farm & Home Show and Wicomico County, is presented with the support of key sponsors, including Perdue, Toyota, Piedmont, and Baths by Spicer Bros.

The fair emphasizes the importance of agriculture on the Eastern Shore within a family-friendly environment. Events will include the Maryland High School Rodeo, 4-H and FFA competitions, and livestock shows.

Attendees can also participate in watermelon, pie, and hot wing eating contests, enjoy the petting farm and duck races, and experience live music, disc dog performances, fireworks on Friday, and much more. Additionally, attractions such as car and Jeep shows, inflatables, and miniature train rides will be available for visitors of all ages.

For those wishing to participate in competitions, the Premium Book has been posted online at wicomicofair.com/resources/entry-forms, with hard copies available at various local retailers and venues, including The Mill, Johnson's Seed & Feed, and Tractor Supply. Categories include gardening, cooking, woodworking, agriculture, livestock, and arts. Entries must be pre-registered by August 4.
